Secure Data Software's (SDS) Medical Practice Management (MPM) package will soon gain Electronic Medical Records (EMR) abilities. We are happy to announce that we have been commissioned to add this feature to our standard package. The term "Electronic Medical Records " describes a system that can provide all of the details of handwritten notes without handwriting. Insurance companies, especially Medicare carriers, are demanding standardization of notes. Doctors and hospitals also desire to extend the benefits of computerization and the internet to these handwritten notes. There are several EMR systems out there, but no design strategy has yet to really take hold, doctors either complain that the systems are too complicated and difficult to navigate, or too sparse and incomplete. SDS will make use of a combination of database, AJAX, handwriting recognition, and dynamic forms generation to provide the conventional "SOAP" abilities for our doctors.Secure Data Software created our MPM package using our Andromeda technology, which we use to quickly create powerful business database applications. More detail on Andromeda is available on our Andromeda Project page.
